New for 2010, the West Junior Jaguar football program will be participating in a new Zumwalt District flag football league. Registration will be open to all kids, grades 4th thru 8th. This is an excellent opportunity for players to learn your district jr. football program. Games will be played on Sundays beginning March 28th.
Sign-ups will be on February 25th and March 2nd from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at Safe Lock Storage

IT’S A GREAT DAY TO BE A JAGUAR THE ORGANIZATION The Jr. Jaguar Football program is a Non Profit Organization created to improve the experience of young athletes in the Fort Zumwalt West High School football program. The program is endorsed and highly recommended by the high school football department, but is not funded or staffed by Fort Zumwalt West High School in any way. The program is made up entirely of our organization's volunteer parents. PURPOSE of the PROGRAM
To develop and prepare our athletes for the transition to Fort Zumwalt West’s High School Football program by teaching the fundamentals of and exposing them to the West football system. As this is a developmental program, emphasis is placed on practice and fundamentals, not game playing time. Play time is at the discretion of the coach, who will continually evaluate players for skill progression, confidence and the safety of the player and the other players on the field. Our leage is competitive in nature, in that there are scores and standings, but the emphasis of the program is the development of our players. If this is not the goal you have for your child, there are many other local programs availalble. |
