🔥 Event Overview
Our program is entering the 2026 Ultimate Warfare 7on7 Faceoff, one of Arizona’s premier youth football tournaments! This two-day event brings together top competition from across the Southwest, featuring 7on7 Touch Football for boys and 5v5 Flag for girls - with championship rings, MVP awards, and more on the line.
Our Jr. Jaguars team will compete in the 12U & 14U Divisions, with a minimum of 4 games/division guaranteed. Every athlete will get valuable game experience, skill development, and the chance to represent our program in a competitive, high-energy environment.

🏈 Spring Football: ATAVUS Tackling + Spring Installs + Showcase BBQ (5/2)
Dates: April 14 – May 7 • Days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays

What we’re doing
ATAVUS Tackling Program (10 sessions): rugby-inspired, light-contact progression (no pads or helmets) focused on tracking, leverage, shoulder contact, wrap/finish, and keeping the head out of the tackle.

Spring Offensive Installs: quick game, spacing/flood, crossers, verticals/choice, perimeter screens — mirroring Desert Ridge HS terminology so players hit summer and fall speaking “Jaguar.”
Spring Showcase & Family BBQ — Friday, May 2: player skills circuit, 7v7 segments, awards shout-outs, and a family BBQ to celebrate the spring block.

Safety first
We follow a light-contact model in spring: no pads/helmets, controlled contact on pads/rings, and a clear progression before any live situations later in the year.
What to bring
Water bottle, cleats, athletic gear, notebook; for the BBQ on 5/2 bring folding chairs/blanket. (Food signup goes out the week prior.)
